Dr. Rudolph Hiemstra is a General Paediatrician. He covers treatment of frequently occurring problems like pneumonia, urinary tract infection, gastro-oesophageal reflux, recurrent abdominal pain, migraines, diarrhoea, constipation and convulsions.

Others areas that may be dealt with by a paediatrician are allergic conditions including food allergy, allergic rhinitis, asthma and eczema as well as urticaria and drug allergies.  Dr Hiemstra also manages the treatment of children with ADD and ADHD as well as other problems of learning and behaviour.

He offers excellent care to children with both simple and complex medical problems and supports other specialist teams in providing family centred holistic care to all children.
